Jordan James said Leicester City accept their 3-1 home defeat by QPR was below standard.
The Rennes loanee had fired his 10th goal of the season, a trademark long-range strike at the King Power, to put City 1-0 up after Tuesday’s win at Bristol City. But defensive frailties returned, three poor goals conceded leaving Gary Rowett’s side second bottom and short of momentum.
James recently missed six games with a hamstring injury and marked his comeback by finding the net again.
He said in a post that the squad must put things right on Saturday at Watford, added he was delighted to score again in this shirt, and wrote there are eight finals to go.
One of the few bright spots this season, James’s availability will be key to keeping City up and avoiding a second successive relegation.
