Jordan James says Norway trip is crucial to Wales’ Nations League fight | OneFootball

Jordan James believes Wales’ trip to Norway next month will be crucial in shaping their Nations League fate. According to ExpressAndStar.com, the on-loan Wolves midfielder regards it as the standout test in their run-in.

Wales were beaten 1-0 by Denmark in Cardiff on Sunday, their third defeat in four Group A4 games, as the Danes completed the double.

The loss hinged on Rasmus Hojlund’s 75th-minute penalty. Danny Ward gifted possession to Gustav Isaksen and then brought him down, damaging hopes of earning a Euro 2028 qualifying top seed via a top-three Nations League finish.

Despite defeat, Wales moved off the bottom because Norway lost 2-1 in Portugal and the head-to-head tiebreaker applied. Having beaten Norway in Cardiff on Thursday, both teams now have three points and their meeting in Oslo on 14 November carries added weight.

James accepted the away assignment will be tough, but said that if Wales reproduce the intensity from the last meeting, they have a real chance.

Norway finish away to Denmark three days later, while Wales end at home to leaders Portugal, who have won all four matches during this extended September and October international window.
