Jorge Sampaoli appointed Talleres de Córdoba head coach until December 2027 | OneFootball

Talleres de Córdoba have appointed Jorge Sampaoli as head coach on a contract running to December 2027, his first stint in Argentina’s top flight.

The club said in a statement that it valued Sampaoli’s decision to choose Talleres, adding that his arrival underlines a readiness to take on challenges with a coach of proven track record, recognised international leadership and a strong competitive personality.

He will be joined by Pablo Fernández (PF), Marcos Fernández (PF) and Diogo Meschine Alves (AC).

The new coaching team will be with the senior squad this Thursday as pre-season begins for the second half of the year.

Sampaoli most recently worked in Brazil at Atlético Mineiro, joining in September 2025 and was dismissed in February this year, due to last year’s Copa Sudamericana final defeat to Lanús.
