Marca reports that José Bordalás will leave Getafe when the season finishes, with Fabio Celestino and Veljko Paunovic among potential replacements.
Bordalás has spent the campaign warning that the situation at the Coliseum is unsustainable. Getafe have faced a severe financial squeeze, selling players they wanted to keep and battling to register signings. In January he said he did not deserve what he was experiencing, and would not wish it on anyone, and repeatedly stressed that reinforcements were urgently needed.
After a successful second spell, the coach is understood to have reached his limit, the report adds, and has turned down an extension through 2028 due to the accumulated strain. He is set to be out of contract in June and free to join another club.
He has recently changed agency and is prioritising a move within Spain. His work at Getafe has again made him a sought-after coach, as it did in his first spell when he earned the chance to take Valencia, although that chapter did not end as he would have liked.
In recent months he has been linked with Sevilla, and there is also Premier League interest, including from Crystal Palace, according to the report. Suitors are unlikely to be in short supply once the season concludes.
