According to TUDN, José Juan Macías has been suffering from a knee injury and is doubtful to face Toluca in Chivas’ upcoming match.
Macías has been taking it easy after the issue was discovered, which is why he did not participate in last weekend’s friendly against Tapatío.
On Wednesday, Macías will undergo medical exams in order to definitively determine his status for the Toluca clash.
However, there is good news out of the Chivas camp as Luis Olivas is set to make it back onto the pitch after recovering from an injury he suffered during the Clásico Nacional.
Chivas are currently outside the Repechage places and will need to make up ground in the final four games in order to make the postseason.
