In the current summer transfer window, one of the issues that FC Barcelona will have to solve is that of Ansu Fati, who is returning to the Catalan club after a mixed season on loan with the Premier League side, Brighton & Hove Albion F.C.

The Spaniard is looking to get a chance to impress the new Barcelona coach, Hansi Flick, in the upcoming pre-season, and is hopeful that he will get a chance to stay in the squad for the next season.

However, Barcelona will be looking to part ways with their number 10 once again, and several clubs are looking to acquire the youngster, especially on a loan.

According to SPORT, one such club is the Turkish side Fenerbahçe SK, whose Sporting Director, Mario Branco, has already talked with the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, and the Barcelona Sporting Director, Deco.

Jose Mourinho is set to lead the Turkish team next season and wants Fati in his squad, convinced that the young player can regain his form and become an important asset once again. The former Real Madrid manager has a strong relationship with Mendes, which could help him persuade Fati to make the move to Turkey.

However, Fati is not the only target that Fenerbahce has in mind, as they have also positioned themselves for a loan of the Liverpool forward, Darwin Nunez, who can leave the English side, but is unlikely to leave on a loan.

For now, Fati is set to participate in the upcoming pre-season under Flick, where the German tactician will assess his physical condition and then make a decision on him.
