José Mourinho praises Real Madrid stars after friendly victory | OneFootball

Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho was quick to make clear his appreciation for the efforts of his players in the aftermath of their latest outing on Wednesday.

Los Blancos were back in action late yesterday evening, locking horns with Deportivo La Coruña in the annual Trofeo Teresa Herrera fixture. When all was said and done, the visitors emerged on the right side of a 1-0 result, thanking a moment of Brahim Díaz brilliance for their eventual triumph.

This kept alive an unbeaten run on the part of Real Madrid across pre-season to date, as the club’s new crop of stars continue to acclimatise to their new surroundings under the watch of José Mourinho.

And as alluded to above, if his latest public comments are anything to go by, then the Portuguese tactician appears to be encouraged by the progress being made in Spain’s capital.

Speaking to the media post-match at the Estadio Riazor, Mourinho revealed his take that:

“We are going slowly. But next week we will go seriously. I think we are improving in everything!”
