Eleven Sports BEL report that Gérard Lopez may intend to strength his Belgian club Royal Excel Mouscron through sending Nigerian international forward Josh Maja, who is currently contracted to another of his clubs, Ligue 1 outfit Bordeaux, on a season-long loan.
RMC report that Les Girondins have just received a €4.5m bid from Championship side Nottingham Forest for Maja, so the situation is certainly unclear.
Mbo Mpenza, Mouscron’s Sporting Director, is also in talks with sign French forward Teddy Chevalier from KV Kortrijk, who does not get on with his current manager Luka Elsner. The player has agreed a provisional 2-year contract with Mouscron.
Finally, Mouscron are also looking at Suk Hyun-Jun, the ESTAC Troyes forward, as a potential option.
