Toronto FC were in desperate need of a forward and brought along USA international Josh Sargent to fill the void.
On Saturday, he proved to the BMO Field faithful why they should continue to bet on him.
The clash against Chicago Fire has been a back-and-forth affair, with the hosts initially conceding just 13 minutes in before a link-up between Sargent and Djordje Mihailovic turned it 1-1.
Then, in the blink of an eye, the American turned it all around with a fantastic volley.
Eyeing up the hat-trick, Sargent then ensured Toronto were on top again following Chicago's earlier equalizer. He picked his spot perfectly for the third!
It's not only his first MLS hat-trick but also TFC's 12th hat-trick in club history.
After the celebrations, Chicago rallied back to draw level and then later took a 4-3 lead through the one and only Robert Lewandowski.
Game on at BMO Field!
