Josip Stanisic ‘limps out’ of Bayern training after Jonathan Tah challenge

Josip Stanisic limped out of Bayern Munich training on Tuesday morning after a challenge from Jonathan Tah, Bild reports.

In a duel for the ball, Tah accidentally stepped on the full-back’s right foot at full speed. After lying down briefly, Stanisic got up and tried to resume, then left for the tunnel.

It is not yet clear whether he faces a spell on the sidelines or only took a knock. He has only just returned from an ankle problem.

Harry Kane missed the session entirely due to illness.

Konrad Laimer was also absent as he continues his recovery from a calf injury. Raphael Guerreiro trained and is expected to be back in the squad for Sunday’s game against Hoffenheim.
