Former Bordeaux and Saint-Étienne midfielder Josuha Guilavogui has obtained the UEFA Certificate in Football Management, the first required qualification on the path to coaching, after months without a club since the summer.
The player said in a post on X on Tuesday that he had secured the qualification.
He described it as a first step into a new world he is discovering gradually, adding that it allows him to look to the future with calm and ambition.
Guilavogui, 35, has featured only sporadically over recent seasons.
His most recent spell came at Leeds, where he made 18 appearances in 2024-2025.
During the summer, the former France international with seven caps was targeted by a Polish club, but talks did not lead to an agreement.
