Crystal Palace could ask for Trevoh Chalobah as part of any potential future deal for Adam Wharton according to reports.
Chelsea are well stocked in midfield, but with Romeo Lavia suffering another injury setback against Qarabag the Blues could look to assess their options.
The Blues face a difficult decision when it comes to Lavia, with the Belgian making just 30 appearances since joining in 2023, and is yet to complete a full 90 minutes.
Chelsea are constantly scouring the market for potential signings, and are believed to be interested in Man United’s Kobbie Mainoo.
The Blues also reportedly added Wharton to their list of transfer of targets in the summer, and journalist Aaron Ramiro has provided an update on the situation.
