Chelsea scouts have been impressed by the progress of RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande according to journalist Graeme Bailey.
The Blues have an abundance of wingers at their disposal and signed both Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens in the summer.
However, as has been the case under the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital ownership, Chelsea are keeping a close eye on the stars of tomorrow.
Estevao Willian also arrived in the summer, although a deal worth up to £51.4m was agreed in the summer of 2024.
Chelsea also have huge talent Geovany Quenda arriving next summer, after they agreed a deal with Sporting Lisbon earlier this year.

However, there’s another young winger who’s catching their eye, and Bailey has revealed the Blues are impressed by Diomande.
“Diomande is special, Chelsea know all about him, indeed I am told they are one of the clubs who saw him in Spain before Leipzig swooped,” he exclusively told The Chelsea Chronicle.
“His progress has been startling, Chelsea love a wide player and their scouts have been hugely impressed with Diomande, he is one we need to keep an eye on.”
Diomande has impressed in the Bundesliga this season with two goals and two assists in nine appearances, and despite being just 18-years-old is already a full Ivory Coast international.
The teenager only arrived in Germany over the summer from Spanish side Leganes, but if he keeps this form up through the season he could be on the move again.
Whilst Diomande is clearly a talent, and it will be interesting to see how he develops throughout the course of the season, Chelsea already have a hugely talented winger arriving next summer.

Quenda, who the Blues will pay up to £44m for will go into the first team squad next season to compete for minutes, and is regarded as one of the best players in the world in his age group.
The teenager already has significant first team experience and providing he remains injury free will arrive at Chelsea with over 100 appearances for Sporting which will certainly serve him well.
