The amount in question will be a figure that will be a little more than €3 million, while additional information regarding the complete package has not yet been provided. However, that is a decent financial package for a player who was yet to make a name for himself with the senior team.

Yet, the journalist also mentioned that the first priority for Alvaro Cortes was always the Barcelona first team. Ultimately, however, the lack of options and a proper path forward with the team has finally led to him deciding to take his talents elsewhere and continue developing in Belgium.
