Jude Bellingham sends ‘sorry’ message to Real Madrid teammate after Inter Milan | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has taken to social media on Wednesday, to send a lighthearted apology message the way of Blancos teammate Brahim Díaz.

This comes after the Englishman robbed Brahim of what would have been a spectacular assist.

Real Madrid were of course back in action on the continent on Tuesday, welcoming Italian giants Inter Milan for the club’s Champions League season opener.

Both of the aforementioned Bellingham and Brahim featured from the off in the fixture, and almost combined for what would have been a brilliant goal during the 2nd-half.

The latter was the creator, doing remarkably to dribble his way through bodies and to the end line. From here, the Moroccan international chipped a perfect ball to the back post for the awaiting Bellingham.

Rather than head the ball towards goal, though, the midfielder opted to take it down, affording Josep Martínez enough time to scramble back across his line and save Bellingham’s strike.

Aware that he should really have scored, the former Borussia Dortmund man therefore took to the comments section of Brahim’s latest Instagram post, to write:

‘sorry mate.’
