Julian Nagelsmann’s position is in severe doubt after a DFB source told Süddeutsche Zeitung he “has no chance” of keeping the job.

Germany suffered a shock round of 32 World Cup exit to Paraguay on Monday.

No decision has been announced. The 38-year-old is under contract with the German Football Association until after the European Championship in 2028.

German press agency SID has backed up the claim, while Süddeutsche Zeitung says “everything” now points to Jürgen Klopp replacing Nagelsmann.

Separately, multiple reports say the current Red Bull Head of Global Soccer is keen on the job.
