Lyon have confirmed their third summer signing, Belgian winger Julien Duranville, on a five-year contract.

As reported by L'Équipe, the deal is valued at five million euros, with the club remaining cautious over its spending.

Duranville arrives to offset the exit of Afonso Moreira, who has joined Bayer Leverkusen for 32 million euros.

He follows Mads Bidstrup, who arrived on Wednesday from Salzburg, and Kaïl Boudache, who joined in mid-June.

With a return to competition slated for four or five August, Lyon are accelerating squad building for the Champions League third qualifying round.

Pre-season began earlier this week. Their first friendly is on Wednesday against Mâcon 71 (N3), behind closed doors.
