David Jurásek, 25, has rejoined Slavia Prague for €3 million after a mixed stint at Benfica, who paid €14 million in 2023. The left back played only 12 times before loans to Hoffenheim on two occasions and Besiktas.

"David Jurásek left the Czech league two and a half years ago as a good player, but perhaps he still was not fully prepared for a top foreign club like Benfica," said coach Branislav Sokoli. He told Ruik.

"It makes sense that, at a time when the club were not counting on Jurásek, Slavia moved to sign him. It is an excellent deal for them. They sold him for around 15 million euros and have now brought him back for approximately 4 million," he added.

"So the return also has a positive financial impact. From a sporting perspective, Jurásek could replace Malick Diouf, balancing the quality on the left," he said.

This season at Besiktas he made 17 appearances, 10 in the Süper Lig, 4 in Conference League qualifying, 2 in Europa League qualifying and 1 in the Turkish Cup. Across 1,034 minutes, he registered no goals or assists. Back home, he will look to rebuild form and consistency after a patchy spell.
