Juventus have received encouraging news on Jeff Ekhator, with tests confirming the young striker suffered only a minor injury on his debut against Basel.

According to the club, the forward underwent radiological examinations at the J Medical centre on Monday morning after the muscle problem that forced him off during Saturday’s friendly.

The scans revealed a low-grade strain of the biceps femoris in his right thigh, and Ekhator has already begun the rehabilitation process aimed at returning to action.
