Juventus’ Fabio Miretti interested in Besiktas switch, deal in progress | OneFootball

Fabio Miretti’s development hasn’t quite gone in the right direction in the last few months at Serie A side Juventus. He became a bit-part squad player in the 2025/26 campaign and his exit is now gaining momentum.

Miretti did well in a loan spell at Genoa during the 2024/25 season. But Juve never quite had plans for him in the previous campaign.

La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Giovanni Albanese has now reported that he has opened up to the idea of a move to Besiktas.

While the decision is surprising, Miretti feels he can grow under Vincenzo Italiano and play regular football.

Juve aren’t against the idea either as they are awaiting sales. They won’t mind an initial loan with an option to buy, as anything that they earn from his exit will go down as a capital gain.

Regardless, the decision would indeed be shocking from Miretti, who needs to remain in Italy, especially to stay in the picture for the Azzurri. Italiano’s Besiktas are undoubtedly doing quite well but Miretti’s experience in Serie A means he could yet find other clubs before the end of the transfer window.
