Juventus hoping Saudi club completes move for Zhegrova | OneFootball

Edon Zhegrova is a player Juventus would love to offload this summer, and the Bianconeri remain hopeful that he will leave while some transfer windows are still open.

The attacker would prefer to stay in Turin, but he is not a starter at the Allianz Stadium and has not shown enough consistency to be considered a reliable alternative to the players ahead of him.

Juve continue to do their best to keep only players they believe can contribute to their efforts, and Zhegrova appears to be one of those they do not expect to produce better performances. His inconsistency has made it difficult for him to establish himself as a trusted option.

Zhegrova facing Juventus exit

So far, Zhegrova has proven too inconsistent and unreliable for Juventus to depend on regularly. The attacker knows that he needs to leave if he wants to secure more playing time, with opportunities at the Allianz Stadium unlikely to improve significantly.

For Juventus, moving him on would also allow the club to focus on players who can make a more dependable contribution. The Bianconeri are therefore waiting to see whether an interested club will make a serious move before the remaining transfer windows close.

Juve now hope Zhegrova can move to the Saudi Pro League. Tuttosport says the Bianconeri hope Al Ittihad’s interest in his signature is serious and that they will follow through with an offer to sign him.

Al Ittihad could provide solution

The attacker is reportedly open to the destination, which would offer him the opportunity to earn more money without paying tax. That could make a move attractive to Zhegrova, while Juventus would finally be able to end a relationship that has not developed as they hoped.

Both the player and the Old Lady are therefore waiting for an offer that could bring their time together to an end. A move to Saudi Arabia could also give Zhegrova the chance to gain greater relevance outside Europe and revive his career away from Turin.

For now, Juventus will remain hopeful that Al Ittihad’s interest develops into a concrete proposal. If it does, the move could provide a solution that suits both the club and the attacker.
