Bernardo Silva’s future could take a new turn at the end of the season. The Manchester City midfielder has entered preliminary talks with Juventus, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Since arriving at the Etihad Stadium in 2017, the Portuguese international has been a key figure in Pep Guardiola’s setup. However, his current contract allows him to consider a fresh challenge, and several clubs are closely monitoring his situation. Juventus are among the most serious contenders, though the Italian giants will first need to secure qualification for the UEFA Champions League to afford a salary estimated at between €7 and €8 million per season.

Aside from the Old Lady, Galatasaray and Inter Miami CF have also entered the race for the 31-year-old. This season, Bernardo Silva has featured in 38 matches across all competitions for Manchester City, tallying two goals and five assists.
