Juventus have an injury crisis in defence ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup tie against Real Madrid, because Federico Gatti skipped training today.
The Round of 16 tie kicks off at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Tuesday at 20.00 UK time.
According to Sport Mediaset, Gatti was nowhere to be seen in today’s training session, because he is suffering from flu symptoms.
The defender is running a fever and it was therefore considered unwise to let him train under heavy rain.
It means Gatti is also unlikely to be ready to play from the start tomorrow, in a game that will kick off in the early afternoon local time.

This is a further blow for coach Igor Tudor, who already lost Nicolò Savona for at least a month with a badly sprained ankle, sustaining ligament damage.
It is therefore likely that Daniele Rugani will end up playing, which would be his debut in the Club World Cup, having returned from a loan at Ajax just for the competition.
Francisco Conceicao is tipped to play with Kenan Yildiz and Randal Kolo Muani upfront, dropping transfer rebel Dusan Vlahovic to the bench.
Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula were frozen out for the last match after they turned down a move to Nottingham Forest, so that situation is also expected to drag on.
