Manchester City’s Gianluigi Donnarumma is rather comfortable at the Etihad but Serie A duo Juventus and Inter are keeping tabs on a possible transfer opportunity.
Calciomercato report that if the Citizens’ situation deteriorates due to the legal trouble surrounding them, the keeper could be one of the first players to move on.
This has led to Inter and Juve keeping a close eye on Manchester City and they had been interested in him even before he left Paris Saint-Germain on a permanent deal.
The Nerazzurri aren’t entirely certain about their keeper’s position for the 2027/28 campaign yet, with Ivan Provedel being a back-up to Josep Martinez. Juve themselves have signed Neto, who is a temporary back-up to the injured Kamil Garbara, who is the second choice behind Guglielmo Vicario.
But both teams see Donnarumma as a direct upgrade on what they have, which makes the chance very appealing.
The Italian knows he will have to take a big wage cut to return to Italy too, with a move to Saudi Arabia in the future also an option for him.
