Alarm bells are ringing in the Juventus camp as multiple outlets in Italy are reporting that star attacker Kenan Yildiz has picked up a significant injury that might require surgery and could rule him out of action for several months.
Juventus got their 2026-27 Serie A campaign off to a winning start on Sunday with a 1-0 victory away against newly-promoted Frosinone, but there are concerns for Yildiz, who has reportedly suffered an injury to his foot.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and various others, Yildiz reported for medical checks at Juventus’s facility in Turin on Monday and the outcome is far from ideal for Luciano Spalletti and his team.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Yildiz could miss around two months of actions and that surgery still remains a possibility to amend the issue with his foot.
This is a separate issue to the recurring knee pain that had impacted the end of Yildiz’s 2025-26 campaign.

There is still a week of the summer transfer window left to go, but it seems unlikely that the Bianconeri will return to the market to find a direct replacement for Yildiz. Spalletti already has Jeremie Boga and summer signing Kerim Alajgebovic at his disposal, and Nico Gonzalez is also still with the club following his loan spell with Atletico Madrid last season.
Juve will next be in action in Serie A at home against Parma on Saturday evening, kicking off at 19.45 BST.
