Juventus make contact with Lille over Marseille target Edon Zhegrova | OneFootball

According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Juventus have made contact with Lille OSC for Edon Zhegrova (26), as they look to bolster their attacking options in the final weeks of the transfer window. However, Juventus may have acted too late.

Zhegrova is a priority target for Olympique de Marseille, with the club reportedly in advanced discussions for the winger. Foot Mercato have previously reported that Marseille have made contact with Lille to discuss a loan with an obligation to buy.

Zhegrova, who has entered the final year of his contract with Les Dogues, has made it clear in multiple statements that he wants to find a new project and considers his time at the club finished. However, as the Lille president announced, there is a chance that if no move materialises, he will be reintegrated into the squad before leaving at the end of his contract.

The winger has been left out of the squad for today’s season opener against Stade Brestois and missed training.
