Juventus name squad for Atalanta as Radu steps in for injured Grabara | OneFootball

Luciano Spalletti has named Juventus’ squad to face Atalanta today, promoting 19-year-old NextGen goalkeeper Riccardo Radu after Kamil Grabara’s ACL injury.

The club said on Saturday that the second-choice keeper had suffered a serious knee injury, so Radu joins senior options Guglielmo Vicario and Carlo Pinsoglio for today’s match.

Another NextGen player, Belgian midfielder Grady Makiobo, 19, is also included in the travelling party.

Andrea Cambiaso remains sidelined as he has not fully recovered from an ankle injury. Other absentees are Kenan Yildiz, Khephren Thuram, Jeff Ekhator, Juan Cabal, Manuel Locatelli, Jeremie Boga and Arkadiusz Milik.

Juve have recorded two wins, one draw and one defeat in four Serie A matches this season. After the international break they are due to visit Cagliari on October 11.
