According to Tuttosport newspaper, Juventus have resumed informal talks for Chelsea and Italy U21 talent Cesare Casadei.
The Italian midfielder is a long-time Juventus target, and according to the latest report from Tuttosport, he’s emerged as a potential January reinforcement if Nicolò Fagioli leaves Turin in the winter transfer window.
Casadei remained at Chelsea last summer despite interest from Fiorentina and Lazio in Serie A. According to Tuttosport, Villarreal, Betis Sevilla in La Liga and Monza in Serie A are interested in securing his services in January.

Casadei has been struggling with playing time under Enzo Maresca at Chelsea this term, so Juventus believe the Blues’ asking price won’t be high.
At the same time, however, signing a new central midfielder is no priority for the Bianconeri, especially if Fagioli stays.
The Old Lady must sign at least one new defender in January to replace the injured Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal, who are out of action for the rest of the season.
Juventus are also looking for a new centre-forward as a back-up for Dusan Vlahovic.
