Juventus star turned down Premier League clubs including Liverpool | OneFootball

Francisco Conceicao was one of the Juventus players who attracted interest from several clubs during the summer transfer window.

The Portuguese star has been one of the top performers in the Juventus squad, so it is no surprise that several clubs were keen to add him to their teams. The Bianconeri consider him a key asset and want to keep him at the Allianz Stadium.

However, Juventus recognise that every player has a price. If their valuation is met and the player also wants to leave, the club would not automatically reject an approach. Juve needed money during the last transfer window, meaning Conceicao could have been sold if an offer he liked had arrived.

The attacker, however, remains committed to the Bianconeri and appears determined to continue his career in Turin.

Conceicao rejects Premier League interest

According to Tuttojuve, several Premier League clubs showed interest in signing Conceicao during the summer. Many players dream of competing in England, but the Portuguese reportedly told his agent to ignore those approaches because he wanted to spend another season at the Allianz Stadium.

That decision demonstrates how committed Conceicao is to Juventus. Rather than pursuing a move away, the attacker wants to continue developing with the Bianconeri and play an important role in their plans this season.

One of the clubs interested in his signature was Liverpool, who need to replace Mohamed Salah. Despite that interest, Conceicao reportedly made it clear that his focus remains on Juventus.

Juventus expect Conceicao to deliver

The Bianconeri will certainly admire the player’s commitment, particularly after he chose to remain despite interest from clubs in the Premier League. However, his decision also comes with responsibility.

Conceicao now needs to justify his decision on the pitch by helping Juventus achieve positive results and compete for trophies this term. Staying in Turin allows him to become an even more important player for the Old Lady.

Juve will therefore expect the Portuguese attacker to continue performing at a high level. If he can deliver consistently, his decision to reject a move away could prove beneficial for both Conceicao and Juventus.
