Juventus ‘to consider’ bid after video call with André | OneFootball

Juventus are interested in Corinthians midfielder André in the current window.

According to ESPN, the Italians spoke to his representatives in recent days about a transfer and held a video call with the 20-year-old.

The club are assessing whether to lodge a bid, with Corinthians valuing André at €20m, around R$117m at current rates. The São Paulo side have not commented.

An academy graduate, André was promoted to the first team last year by Dorival Júnior. He quickly earned a starting role and was used as a surprise element in the side that won the Copa do Brasil and the Supercopa Rei.

He has 42 appearances and seven goals to date. In March, president Osmar Stabile rejected a €17m offer from Milan, saying the figures were not adequate amid public complaints from Dorival Júnior.

Corinthians currently have two active transfer bans and outstanding image-rights payments for the men’s first-team squad. The club need sales in this window to keep their accounts in order.
