Reports suggest Juventus will sell Fabio Miretti, yet negotiations with Bologna are proving difficult and no agreement is close. He turns 23 in August.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Bologna are the most active suitors this summer and remain in regular contact to narrow the gap.

Juventus are seeking around €12-14m, down from a previously reported €20m, while Bologna’s proposal is said to be well short. There is also no agreement on structure, whether a loan with option or conditional obligation to buy, or a permanent deal.

Juventus, who developed Miretti in their academy, would record near-pure profit from any sale. They need to make a big sale by June 30 to balance the books after missing the Champions League.

Villarreal are also believed to be interested, but Miretti is thought to prefer remaining in Serie A. Fiorentina are monitoring developments.
