Juventus Primavera's friendly against Al Ain U23 ends in a narrow defeat, with the Emirati side claiming a 1-0 win in Vinovo thanks to Agyapong's second-half goal.

The first effort of the game comes from Al Ain, with Alzaabi firing wide in the eighth minute. Juventus look to build through possession, while the visitors threaten again in the 19th minute: Houessou picks out Suleiman's run, but his effort from a tight angle misses the target.

On the half-hour mark, Mister Padoin makes his first changes, introducing Yeboah, Okolo and Baba. Five minutes later, Nava produces an excellent save to keep the score at 0-0: Agyapong finds himself through on goal, but the Bianconeri goalkeeper does well to close him down and make the stop. In the 41st minute, Rocchetti is decisive in a one-on-one situation with Suleiman, and the teams head into the break goalless.

Juventus make several changes at the start of the second half, with Michelis, Rogoz, Mosca, Lacmanovic, Tiozzo and Marchisio all coming on. In the 54th minute, Lacmanovic makes an excellent defensive intervention to deny Al Ain in a dangerous situation.

Padoin makes five more substitutions in the 58th minute and, shortly afterwards, Al Ain take the lead. In the 63rd minute, the Emirati side win possession before Niang plays Agyapong through, and he beats Jakab to make it 1-0.

The visitors look to capitalise on their momentum and in the 72nd minute Djassi, following another turnover, is denied by Jakab. Djassi tries his luck again from distance ten minutes later, sending his effort narrowly over the crossbar.

Juventus push for an equaliser in the closing stages. In the 86th minute, Keutgen beats two opponents before seeing his shot blocked, while two minutes later he finds Marchisio on the edge of the box, whose first-time effort goes wide.

That proves to be the final opportunity of the match, as Al Ain U23 secure a 1-0 friendly win over Juventus Primavera in Vinovo.
