New Juventus director Giovanni Carnevali has ‘never spoken to Dusan Vlahovic’ despite leaving the door open for the future, while updating on Tarik Muharemovic, Fabio Miretti and Jhon Lucumi.
The former Sassuolo CEO took over from Damien Comolli over the last couple of weeks and was representing his new club at an event marking the opening of the Serie A transfer market.
He spoke to Sky Sport Italia, and you can read the rest of his comments here.

Among the subjects discussed by Carnevali was the situation with Vlahovic, whose contract expires on June 30 and has been offered a new deal at a reduced salary.
“Personally, I have never spoken to him. Anything is possible in football, there can be possibilities tomorrow that do not exist today. He is an important player, but today he is not in our thoughts,” added Carnevali.

There are talks for a potential exchange with Bologna between midfielder Miretti and defender Lucumi, with suggestions that the Rossoblu are still at least €2m off the asking price for the Italian.
“I don’t think it will be easy to get this agreed. Firstly because we believe in Miretti, and above all feel that he has a certain value on the market,” noted Carnevali.
“I think at this moment we do not have the right conditions to sell him, especially as we do not need to make sales right now.
“The same is true of Lucumi, who has a release clause worth €28m. We believe he is an important player and he could interest us, but not at these conditions.”
The Colombia international defender is currently playing at the World Cup and has long been linked with a move to Juve.
Another defender on the radar for the Bianconeri is Muharemovic, a particularly curious situation seeing as he was in their youth academy.

Juventus sold the Bosnia and Herzegovina international to Sassuolo in 2025 for €2m, but retaining 50 per cent of the future sale fee.
Making it even stranger is that Carnevali was the director who negotiated that deal for Sassuolo and is now on the other side representing Juve.
“Muharemovic is a player I know perfectly well, so we know what he can do and his great promise. We’ve got to think about the type of offers that are there, because we do still own 50 per cent of him.
“In this case, we’ll evaluate what opportunities there could be especially if selling abroad, but at the same time we are monitoring him, because he could be interesting for Juventus.”
