Kai Havertz injury latest with forward to return to Arsenal early | OneFootball

Arsenal forward Kai Havertz has withdrawn from the Germany squad and is set to undergo a scan after suffering a suspected hamstring injury in Thursday’s 1-1 Nations League draw with the Netherlands.

The 27-year-old was forced off during the first half and will now return to Arsenal for further assessment, though the issue is not thought to be a serious one.

The German FA confirmed on Friday morning that both Havertz and team-mate Jamal Musiala had left the squad.

“At the moment both are on the MRI [scans],” Klopp told RTL after his first game in charge of Germany.

“I hope we get the diagnosis tonight. But of course that’s not great now.

“I hope this is just nothing bad. The boys are probably out for us. But hopefully then also relatively quickly available again.”’
