Corinthians completed their final session before the Libertadores last 16 at Newell's Old Boys' training centre in Rosario, Argentina. According to Globo.com, Kaio César trained without restrictions and will start alongside Pedro Raul against Rosario Central at the Estadio Gigante de Arroyito.
Media were permitted to watch only the warm-up. All 24 players named in the squad took to the pitch, then once Fernando Diniz began tactical work journalists were asked to leave.
Kaio César had been the only doubt among the probable starters. Wearing boots, he appeared recovered from a knee issue.
Corinthians are expected to line up with Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho, Gabriel Paulista, Gustavo Henrique and Matheus Bidu. Raniele, Allan, Breno Bidon and Rodrigo Garro should start, with Kaio César and Pedro Raul up front.
The absentees are André, who has a grade two injury to the right hamstring, Yuri Alberto with a right hamstring problem, Vitinho as he recovers from surgery on the left knee meniscus, and Kayke plus Zakaria Labyad, both recovering from anterior cruciate ligament injuries to the left knee.
