Corinthians beat Internacional 2-1 at Neo Química Arena but went out of the Copa do Brasil, the first-leg loss proving decisive. According to Meu Timao, Matheus Bidu’s cross for Pedro Raul lifted the left-back into the club’s top three for assists in 2026.

Gustavo Henrique opened the scoring from a rebound, then Pedro Raul headed in from Bidu’s cross.

It was Bidu’s third assist of the year and his first in five months. Earlier in 2026 he set up Dieguinho in a 3-0 Paulista win over Capivariano, and Yuri Alberto’s equaliser in a 1-1 Brasileirão draw with Flamengo.

The cross against Internacional was his 11th assist for Corinthians and his second against the same opponents, after the 4-2 league win in 2025.

Bidu is level with fellow full-back Matheuzinho on three for the season, behind Yuri Alberto on four and Rodrigo Garro on 11. Kaio César, Pedro Raul, André Luiz, Gustavo Henrique and Labyad have two, while Memphis Depay, Dieguinho, André Carrillo, Jesse Lingard, Breno Bidon, Vitinho and Ryan have one.

After the cup exit, Corinthians are left in the Brasileirão and the Libertadores. They visit Red Bull Bragantino on Sunday at 18:30, then travel to Argentina to face Rosario Central in the Libertadores last-16 first leg on Thursday, 13 August at 21:30.
