Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Khalil Ben Youssef has opened up about the club's ambitions to clinch the 2025/26 Betway Premiership title.
The Soweto giants snapped a four-game winless run in the league as they edged Durban City last week Friday.
As a result, Chiefs currently sit in fourth place with 19 points from 10 league outings. Amakhosi trail log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns with three points and have a game in hand.
When quizzed on whether the Glamour Boys can be considered title challengers, Ben Youssef insisted they are approaching each and every competition with the view of winning it.
“For the team, I think every season the targets of a big team like Kaizer Chiefs are the same. We compete for every competition we are in - the Carling Cup, Nedbank, the PSL league and the CAF Confederation Cup,” said the Tunisian mentor.
"Every game we fight, we compete and we think only about winning the title. I think last time we were struggling a bit with three draws, now we came back to win, we continue to fight and then we will see the results after.
