Kalidou Koulibaly has agreed a one-year contract extension with Al-Hilal, keeping the Senegalese defender at the club until 2027. The club said in a statement that the board, led by His Highness Prince Nawaf Bin Saad, approved the deal.

His Highness signed the extension with Rúben on Thursday evening at the club’s headquarters in Riyadh.

Koulibaly has delivered standout performances for the team, contributing to a sustained period of success.

His honours with Al-Hilal include the King’s Cup, the Roshn Saudi League, two Saudi Super Cups and the Riyadh Season Cup.

He also played a key role in Al-Hilal’s results at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, when the team advanced to the quarter-finals.
