Bayern have completed a clean sweep at kicker’s 2025/26 awards after Harry Kane was named Men’s Player of the Year, Vincent Kompany was Coach of the Year and Giulia Gwinn picked up the Women’s Player of the Year title. Michael Olise came second, Joshua Kimmich fourth and Manuel Neuer tenth in the men’s vote. Klara Bühl (second), Pernille Harder (seventh), Linda Dallmann (ninth) and Franziska Kett (tenth) also made the top ten for the women.

Herbert Hainer, FC Bayern president: “A Bayern double – never before have the men and women’s Player of the Year awards gone to the same club. Congratulations to Harry and Giulia, as well as our coach Vincent. When men’s and women’s football makes history together, then that’s Bayern, making a mark. We’re proud of this result.”

Jan-Christian Dreesen, FC Bayern CEO: “We saw already with the presentation of the Golden Shoe as Europe’s top scorer that there’s no getting away from Harry with the big individual awards this year, because he’s shone on every stage. Big congratulations to Harry now on being voted Germany’s Player of the Year. He’s the first Englishman ever and the first Bayern player for five years – another milestone in an outstanding career. Congratulations as well to Vincent and Giulia. Kane, Kompany, Gwinn – three awards, one Bayern DNA. This historic treble is also complemented excellently by our further top-ten finishes. We’re very proud of our teams.”

Max Eberl, FC Bayern board member for sport: “We’re slowly running out of superlatives for Harry, but I’m happy to be left speechless. He’s already been England’s Player of the Year, and now he’s won it in Germany. That shows that where Harry goes, success follows. We’re also proud of Vincent, Giulia and the many other Bayern players who finished in the top ten. They all represent the extraordinary team performances by the men and women at Bayern. These awards are given to individuals but only made possible by everyone.”

Bianca Rech, FC Bayern director of women’s football: “Bayern can be proud of people like Giulia, who represent the performances and success of our teams. Others in our squad last season could’ve deserved to win the award, like Klara in second place. Individual awards in football are down to the entire team and show how working together bears fruit in the form of attractive football, top performances and titles. We’re also pleased for Pernille, Linda and Franziska coming in the top ten. Every trophy is a mission not to let up in the coming season and to keep going. Congratulations as well to Harry and Vincent!”

Kompany has brought records, a clear approach and renewed sense of DNA to Bayern:

Seen as a down-to-earth, perfect leader by Kompany and Uli Hoeneß, Kane’s 61 goals last season saw records tumble as he put up numbers akin to Gerd Müller and Robert Lewandowski at Bayern:

Gwinn has been one of the faces of FC Bayern Women’s success, taking a leading role on and off the pitch that’s made her a central figure for the team, club and fans:
