Sky Germany reports that Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi has agreed personal terms in principle on a long-term deal with Barcelona, while Gerard Romero makes the same claim.

The clubs are in direct negotiations over a transfer fee, with no agreement reached yet.

Dortmund and Adeyemi have discussed a contract extension beyond 2027 for months without a breakthrough, so a summer departure now looks increasingly likely.

Adeyemi is represented by Jorge Mendes, who also represents Barcelona star Lamine Yamal.

The Munich-born forward joined Dortmund from RB Salzburg in the summer of 2022 and has scored 36 goals in 146 competitive appearances for the club. Adeyemi, 24, has made 11 appearances for Germany, but was left out of the squad for this summer's World Cup.
