Karim Adeyemi reveals Hansi Flick’s role in his move to Barcelona | OneFootball

New Barcelona signing Karim Adeyemi has provided an insight into the role played by Hansi Flick in his decision to take his talents to the Spotify Camp Nou.

Frontman Adeyemi was of course unveiled as the latest addition to Barca’s first-team ranks on Thursday.

Following a long week of waiting for the German in Catalunya’s capital, his presentation was overseen by the likes of Joan Laporta and Jorge Mendes at the Blaugrana’s official base.

Adeyemi is set to add yet further pace and explosivity to an already talent-packed group of attackers under the watch of Hansi Flick at the Ciutat Esportiva.

And as alluded to above, speaking in the aftermath of his signing being confirmed, the 24-year-old opened up on the impact of his new manager in luring him to La Liga.

Adeyemi previously spent time lining out under the watch of Flick, with the German national team.

Drawn on the name of his compatriot during his Barcelona unveiling ceremony, the former Borussia Dortmund man therefore went on to admit:

“Hansi Flick is the main reason why I’m here. I’ve spoken a lot with him and have trusted him greatly from the very first moment. I’m willing to help to achieve the objectives.”
