Kassoum Ouattara has left Monaco for Besiktas, the move confirmed on Thursday 2 July after he flew to Istanbul, Türkiye, for a medical on Wednesday.

According to Nice-Matin, Monaco will receive eight million euros plus two million in bonuses, with a 15 percent sell-on clause. The 21-year-old has signed his contract.

Ouattara is set to feature in Europa League qualifying on the Bosphorus and is aiming for more regular minutes.

It came only hours after the loan arrival of 19-year-old winger Mathys Detourbet from Manchester City was confirmed.

The France Under-21 international made 57 appearances for Monaco, scoring one, after joining from Amiens in November 2023.

Monaco had considered keeping him amid Caio Henrique’s planned exit, but Besiktas’ project appealed and the club allowed him to depart.
