Eintracht Frankfurt have made an initial call in their goalkeeping battle for 2026-27. Sport Bild reports that Kauã Santos will start the DFB Cup tie against fifth-tier SC St. Tönis.
Adi Hütter’s selection is not a firm decision for the whole season, but the Brazilian currently has the edge over Michael Zetterer.

Whatever the outcome of the duel, Zetterer, 31, has chosen to remain in Frankfurt.
He joined from SV Werder Bremen a year ago as back-up.
With Santos hindered by injuries and dips in form, Zetterer went on to make 28 appearances across the campaign.
