Kerolin becomes most expensive women’s footballer ever after leaving Man City for Barcelona | OneFootball

Manchester City star Kerolin has joined Barcelona in a world record women’s football transfer.

City are set to bank around £1.25m from the deal, making the forward the most expensive women’s footballer of all time.

The previous record transfer was Olivia Smith’s sale from Liverpool to Arsenal last summer.

Kerolin has signed a deal until 2030 with the Spanish club after scoring nine goals and assisting five in 15 WSL appearances last season.

Barcelona have lost several key players this summer including Alexia Putellas, Mapi Leon and Salma Parraluelo.
