He celebrated title wins in the Championship and League One with Wolves, then moved to Copenhagen. After that he turned out for several EFL clubs, finishing his playing career at Billericay Town.

Foley first went into coaching in the United States with former Wolves team-mate Neil Collins at Tampa Bay Rowdies. His first job in England came alongside Rob Edwards at Forest Green Rovers, helping them win the League Two title.

In September 2022 he stepped into non-league with ex-Birmingham City defender Roger Johnson at Brackley Town. He then returned to Luton in July 2023 to join Edwards’ staff.

He later became a first-team coach under Jack Wilshire, adding this latest honour as a coach to those earned as a player.
