Having kickstarted their new season with a 3-0 win over RCD Mallorca at Estadi Son Moix, Barcelona were in a positive mood as they trained today at the club facilities upon returning from their trip.
Goals from Raphinha, Ferran Torres, and Lamine Yamal secured a rather comfortable victory for the reigning La Liga champions, whose next game will pit them against UD Levante.
As preparations got underway for the next game, Barcelona welcomed key striker Robert Lewandowski back to group training today, reports Mundo Deportivo.
The veteran centre-forward had suffered muscle discomfort in the femoral biceps of his left leg prior to the Joan Gamper Trophy and did not feature against Como, also missing Saturday’s visit to Son Moix.

However, on Sunday, he returned to training with Hansi Flick’s squad, albeit only partially, even taking part in small-sided games with the ball.
As such, everything indicates that the 36-year-old superstar will be ready in time for Barcelona’s next game against Levante – cutting short his recovery time, which was initially expected to be around three weeks.
Lewandowski trained alongside those who did not feature in Mallorca – Inaki Pena, Wojciech Szczesny, Andreas Christensen, Marco Casado, Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernandez, Toni Fernandez, Guille Fernandez, Roony Bardghji, Gerard Martin, Marc Bernal, and Hector Fort.
Also part of this group were players who only had limited minutes, such as Dani Olmo, Gavi, Marcus Rashford, Jules Kounde and Jofre Torrents. The starters, meanwhile, undertook a necessary recovery session after competing in extremely hot conditions.
