TS Galaxy defender Khulumani Ndamane has admitted that the growing transfer speculations surrounding his future can be disturbing at times.
The 21-year-old has been one of the standout performers for The Rockets since joining the club from Kaizer Chiefs' reserve team last season.
With eye-catching displays in the heart of Galaxy's defense, Ndamane eventually attracted the attention of Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos.
As a result, Mamelodi Sundowns were heavily linked with his signature during the off-season, but a deal never materialized and the player has conceded the rumor mill tends can take a mental toll.
“Sometimes it disturbs you because if you focus on the transfer talk a lot, you end up forgetting what you have to do on the field. So, I tell myself that whatever is happening right now is because it's meant to happen and it's also because of the way I'm working,” said Ndamane.
"People will continue talking but everything has its own time, mine is to play football and everything will happen at the right time.
Having made 12 appearances across all competitions with two assists in the process, Ndamane is pleased with his performances this season, albeit not satisfied.
“I think I'm doing well even though I'm not where I want to be at the moment, but I have to keep on working,” added the Bafana international.
