The Egypt U20 national team will meet New Zealand tonight Tuesday in the 2nd round of the FIFA U20 World cup group stage currently hosted by Chile.
Egypt lost 2 - 0 to Japan in their opener while New Zealand fell 2 - 1 to tournament hosts Chile. Both sides enter the game seeking their 1st points in Group A.
The match kicks off at 8:00 PM (GMT) and will be broadcast live on beIN Sports Open Channel, the exclusive rights holder for the U20 World cup in the Arab world & North Africa.
Currently bottom of the group with zero points, the Young Pharaohs must secure positive result to keep qualification hopes alive before their decisive final match against hosts Chile.
Tournament format
The competition features 24 team split into 6 group of 4. The top 2 from each group along with the four best 3rd placed teams, progress to the knockout stage.
