Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich has been forced to take a break from training.

The 31-year-old missed Bayern’s training session on Thursday due to minor muscular problems in the adductor area.

As a result, he's unlikely to be risked when the German champions face Aston Villa in a friendly match on Friday.

Young midfielder Bara Spoko Ndiaye also sat out Thursday’s session after picking up a knock to his knee.

Bayern and Aston Villa will go head-to-head in Hong Kong at 14:00 CEST on Friday.
