Klára Cahynová signs new Real Sociedad deal until 2027 with option | OneFootball

According to Diario Vasco, Real Sociedad have agreed a new contract with Klára Cahynová until 2027, with an option for a further year.

The Liga F side are building for a demanding campaign across the league, Copa de la Reina and Supercopa, with European competition also targeted in the Women’s Champions League.

The Czech midfielder has been pivotal for Arturo Ruiz this season, making 28 appearances and 2,230 minutes, with four goals and three assists. With her on the pitch, the team recorded 19 wins, six draws and only three defeats.

Across her two seasons she has featured 57 times for 4,505 minutes, scoring seven and assisting five, and has celebrated 32 victories. The club value her daily commitment and competitive edge, and view her as a calming, reliable presence in midfield.

Cahynová said she feels very happy at the club, felt trust and affection from day one and cannot currently imagine playing elsewhere. She is grateful to continue and is excited about playing in Europe in front of their supporters.

She regards the Women’s Champions League as the most exciting competition and believes facing top teams from other countries could help them. In a very young group, she expects to bring seniority and calm.

Real Sociedad have already renewed Nerea Eizagirre, and the club will reveal incoming signings and departures in the coming weeks. Those operations appear set to move quickly.
